Spring Into Awesome with Cinelinx in April

First and foremost to happen in April is, of course, the bane of all avid news readers: April Fool's Day.  Just about every movie or game information to come out on that day is suspect and more often than not totally false.  Some of which can be heartbreaking and we'll be keeping you updated throughout the day of the biggest "fake" stories to land that day.  

Once we're past that hurdle, and the resulting fallout the next day, it's pretty much smooth sailing throughout the rest of the month.  For us here at Cinelinx, we'll be continuing our normal Movielinx editorial series which will focus on the best comedic performances (since April is officially national humor month...apparently).  For the Gamerlinx side of things the series of articles we're presenting will focus on the best Sony PlayStation exclusive games.  We’ll be highlighting the best games made only for Sony’s home consoles throughout all of its generations, talking about what made them great and what we hope to see out of them in the future. 

Over on the Cinelinx Gamer's Club we're putting the spotlight on the original PlayStation from Sony and will be presenting some cool posts, art, and other nifty things relating to it all throughout the month.  While we're at it, don't hesitate to contribute to the discussion either on the Facebook Page, or right here in the forums available on the site.  

We'll also be bringing you guys even more awesome contests.  Last month we offered up a new movie download every week over on our Facebook Page, and it's something we plan on continuing to offer moving forward into this month, but we may also have a few bigger surprises here and there as well (don't forget we're giving away early screening tickets to Captain America: the Winter Soldier) so it's important to make sure you're keeping up with all of our goings on in our Facebook and Twitter pages so you can win some sweet prizes.  

Sounds like a lot already, doesn't it?  But we're not stopping there!  With the Summer Movie Season coming up very, very soon we'll be featuring our annual Summer Movie Preview Guides in April as well.  Our guides will break down (major players, synopsis, and trailers) the biggest movie releases hitting according to their release dates, for every month in the Summer season.  So if you're not sure what to look forward to during the Summer, our guide is designed to help you figure out what looks good, and what doesn’t. 

While I can’t say much right now, this month is also bringing something very new and very awesome to our website...but you’ll just have to wait and see! 

On top of ALL of that our regular shows from The Fathergamer Podcast and SCNS Live will still be dropping and we'll be keeping up with all the news and reviews on the latest releases.  There's lots going on right now in the world of film and games, and we're here to help you navigate it all.
