It’s Getting Spooky This Month at Cinelinx

For us personally, here on the site, we’re really excited about October because this is when our KickStarter backers should start receiving their Cinelinx Card Games in the mail!  We’ve begun shipping them out and individuals will get emails as they ship out.  Rest assured, however, that we are pushing them out the door as fast as we can.

With that being the case, we’re encouraging all of our fans to share with us your images of the game, or of you and your friends playing the game on Twitter or Facebook, using the hashtag #CinelinxGame.  We’d love to see them in our hands, and for sharing your pics with us, you could win something!  We’ll have more details on that contest next week, but keep it in mind.  

Speaking of contests, we’ve got a doozy of one coming up this month, that will appeal to horror movie fans all over.  It’s a trivia contest of a sort, that we’ll be running through our social media channels.  Every correct response earns you an entry to win an excellent Horror Movie Prize Pack!  You’ll have to be following us on Twitter and Facebook to participate, so if you aren’t already, you better get to it.  We’ll have more details on this contest by the end of the week, so stay tuned.  

Don't forget that our Discussion Forums are alive and active, just waiting on you to join in with your thoughts.  It's a great place to share your ideas, comments, and questions with a community of individuals who love the same things you do!  Not to mention the Cinelinx team is on there as well, meaning you can talk with us directly.

Like I mentioned, we’re dedicating this entire month to the joy of Halloween and all that comes with it.  So both our Gamerlinx and Movielinx editorial columns will be putting the focus on Horror and Halloween.  So no matter what you come to the site for most, be it movies or video games, we’ve got you covered for Halloween festivities on both sides!  But even if you’re not a huge horror fan (like myself), we’ll have articles for you to enjoy as well.  

On top of all that, we have our regular original media content in The Fathergamer Podcast and the Super Cool Nerd Show, along with continuing video reviews for Comics and Toys in Geek Approved.  Moreover, you may have already noticed one of our new shows we’ve added to the line-up, in The Recap!  This weekly series will take a look back at the biggest news stories from the week in one easy to watch format.  So be sure to tune into those for great content and fun times!
